The role

We are hiring a Technical lead for the Revenue Engineering team at Soundtrack. The team is responsible for subscription management, product packaging and business support systems.

In the capacity of Tech Lead and Senior Developer for our Revenue Engineering team, your core responsibility will be to lead and shape the architectural design and implementation of flexible and stable revenue solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Technical leadership, guide the team in architectural decisions to develop a well-functioning and maintainable platform
• Define, implement and continuously improve the development processes and ways of working. Identify bottlenecks, pain points and work to remove them
• Responsible for resource planning which contributes to success metrics and our goals
• Ensure our backlog and a corresponding development plan balances features, improvements and bugs appropriately
• Align and synchronise development projects with the respective roadmaps of other teams
• Mentor and provide guidance within the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning, improvement and technical excellence
• Champion and promote best practices for development teams and technology

Requirements

You have an excellent understanding of system architecture and best practices in SaaS environments or billing-related systems and you have proficiency in at least one major programming language (e.g. GO, Scala, Java, Python).

Furthermore, you are experienced within most or all of the following areas:

• Cloud native architecture (GCP, AWS or Azure)
• Working on large scale, complex distributed systems and code bases
• Services APIs 
• GraphQL APIs and libraries (we use Caliban on the backend and Apollo for clients)
• Automated testing
